You’ve heard his work, but probably have no idea who he is. Over the last half decade Taurees Habib has helped design the musical pallets of some of Hollywood’s biggest films. As lead sampling engineer for Hans Zimmer, Taurees has contributed to the sound of blockbusters from Man Of Steel to Interstellar.
The next stop on a journey that started in the underground music scene of Karachi, Pakistan, where he grew up, is his latest project Bedlam Jackson, a culmination of what he has picked up along the way. As writer, producer, engineer, and performer on the self titled Bedlam Jackson EP, Taurees has created a unique blend of dancy grooves, unapologetic guitars, electro-pop synths, and soulful vocals.
